Our 1st trip 2 Disneyland w Charlyne!
Already tot e trip was cancelled le but who knws, a bright sunny day greeted us & hubby decided 2 give it try. So aft breakfast @ Mac, we're off on our way 2 Paris. Disneyland, wait 4 us, we r coming!
It's a 7-hr drive & we r fully equipped 2 keep our l'il princess entertained, bread, cornflakes, portable DVD player & her favourite piglet plushie. Lynelyne is considered "guai(1)" already, play w her piglet, nap, watch her Dora, juz tt she kept asking 4 Alex To's "tuo(1) diao(4)" when we played e CD, omg, listen until we sian. But poor gal, she doesn't hv a proper meal thru' out e journey, only ate some fries, chicken & egg which is definitely nt enough 4 her & there's no chinese restaurant along e highway.
Weather is really bad up north.
Had a hard time looking 4 e hotel @ nite & when we found another Etap, I told hubby 2 check w 'em if they hv any rm available, if yes, juz call up our hotel 2 cancel e reservation. We're already 2 shacked 2 look 4 e hotel le... Heng there is & tis hotel is so conveniently located beside Quick fastfood restaurant. Loaded our luggage & had our dinner there & since e rain stopped, hubby suggested tt we go Disney Village 4 some shopping & if weather is bad tmr, then we 'll give Disneyland Park a miss.
Bought a set of clothings 4 "xiao(3) xiao(3) B" cos hubby says must b fair, last X we oso purposely went 2 Disney Village 2 buy clothings 4 Charlyne b4 she was born. Oso bought a set of hair accessories & a pair of Mickey & Minnie plushie 4 Lynelyne. I oso got a Disney 15th Anniversary thermal mug & a Mickey hp accessory specially chosen by hubby, tks dear! He himself only bought a few medailles.
Happily rtn 2 hotel w our "shou(1) huo(4)", heng we reached e hotel in time, e wind was roaring e whole nite shortly aft we settled down.
Poor hubby kena cold on e way...
Lynelyne kena beat on her thigh real hard by Daddy cos Daddy already sick le & she kept playing & dun wana sleep. Poor gal... tink she slept enough on e car liao + she nt used to the new environment bah. She's so sad tt she cried silently on her own, then hubby "xin(1) teng(2)" & sayang her back.
Already gave up hope abt gg 2 Disneyland Park tdy le but who knws, it's sunshine aft e rain! We quickly get ready 2 check out & head 4 our destination while it's still sunny.
Charlyne drank so much milk during e morning & nite feed tink she really hungry. I was bz packing & was stunned when I turned ard ~ she already finished her milk, lol...
Ooo... it's so cold tt my ears hurt while queuing up 4 e tixs. Hubby said it's bcos I'm wearing silver earrings. Sooo pain until I felt so headache, quickly take it off, heng I feel better aft a while. Oso afraid tt Lynelyne might b cold cos she doesn't 1 2 wear e hood of her sweater, so we bought her a Minnie hood, got 2 ball ball dangling fr e sides, she looks so cute in it. She doesn't like 2 wear it, still gotta trick her into wearing it, haha...
Wanted to rent stroller but all rented out & she kept wanting 2 b carried, shacked...
Glad tt Lynelyne quite enjoy herself but 2 bad, our trip is such a short 1, reached here ard 11+ for brunch then leave 4 hm @ 2.30pm, so we didn't let Lynelyne queue 4 any photo-taking session (got Winnie & Mickey leh, only took pics w Donald & some other characters tt doesn't need to queue) or rides (wanted so much 2 let her take e 'Small Small World' boat ride but hubby says scared she struggle & fall into e water), wat a waste! & e most angry thing is tt "nan(2) de(2)" there's free Disney-On-Ice @ Disneyland, we missed it cos we didn't @ e schedule given 2 us & 2 tink we even went to FrontierLand where it's screened, arrrgghhhh...
Wanted to get a matching Disney polyester sweater 4 Lynelyne 2 go w ours but who knws their smallest size is for 4 yrs & above & it's 2 big 4 her, wat a disappointment.
Lynelyne was so excited 2 c Mickey & I wanted 2 let her join e queue since we r leaving le but who knws e queue was closed liao, haiz... Wanted so much 2 'beg' e person-in-charge 2 let us join e queue but hubby says it's ok lah :( But heng, he went fwd & took a close up of Mickey, better than nothing lah :)
Bought candy floss & it's Lynelyne's 1st try & she finds it funny, lol...
I was stunned when Charlyne requested 4 a pen in 1 of e shops, gave her my pen but she dun 1, so no choice but 2 get it 4 her ~ a Mickey Mouse ballpt pen...
Hubby bought an English Disney Bedtime Stories 4 Lynelyne, he says "nan(2) de(2)" can get English bks here. So sweet of him...Lynelyne likes 2 play w lollilop & I got 1 for her 2 play during e journey.
Really regretted nt getting e blue Mickey sweater 4 Lynelyne yesterday & heng tdy still got come, so quickly grab. Was hesitating cos blue looks a bit boyish but aft some tots, xiao xiao B oso can wear when he's 2 yrs old, so ok lah & it's 40% off.
Charlyne is so tired tt she fell asleep on her daddy's shoulders on our way out of Disney Village. Her daddy tot she was juz leaning on him cos she's scared of e wind but when hubby told her no more wind le & there's no reaction fr her. Poor gal, she must b so tired as it's already 2.30pm. She had a v long nap & we drive all e way back w/o much stopping, better drive as much as possible b4 she wakey & make noise, dinner can wait till she wakes up.
E weather is starting to turn bad when we r leaving. A bit waste of $$$ cos we only spend max 3 hrs there but @ least we let Lynelyne hv a feel of Disneyland *console myself*
On e way back, we bought bb food 4 lynelyne & she ate half of it, gd enough liao, better than juz fries. Hubby bought Gui-Lin so tt Lynelyne can hv a proper meal, poor gal, didn't eat much during e trip, heng we cut short our trip, else hw she survive w so little food.
Dunno izit 2 cold during e trip, Charlyne nose bleed e next day aft we got hm, got a scare... heng it stopped aft we put her in e lying position a wet hanky on her forehead. BUT who knws... e day aft next, she diarrhoea, oh oh... tink she really can't take e cold *oops*
